LOVING my Cub -- what a great airplane!! And what a tremendous job you guys did in bringing this to life for us! THANKS!!

I'm still finding my way around some of the details, and have plenty to learn... Forgive me if this amounts to a "silly question":

I fly with ambient sounds played through a decent speaker system, and use a headset for ATC, etc. But thus far, all of the Accusim expansion sounds only play through my headset. I can't find a way to have them play through the speakers, with all the other 'ambient' sounds.

I'd really like to get the engine chatter, etc out of my head and outside where they seem more at home -- is there a "tweak" I can make to have those sounds play through the "Sounds" channel of FSX, rather than the "Voice" channel? Maybe a .cfg entry that could be altered??

Thanks in advance,
Drizzle

This is while flying online on Vatsim? I do know I can make the Vatsim ATC controllers play through my headset only and the rest of the aircraft sounds play through my speakers.

As far as if this is offline, I'm not sure, it seems like those offline ATC sounds play through my speakers. If I'm flying offline using the offline ATC I don't wear my headset, as I can't "speak" to ATC anyways.

I haven't actually taken the plunge into VATSim yet, though I plan to soon. Meanwhile, I do use AI ATC through the headsets (and even "talk" back my requests and replies, even though I know there's no one listening). My purpose in using FSX isn't just playing a game to me... I yearn to fly for real, and can't afford to for a few more years. So what I do on FSX, I do with as much realism as possible -- both to quench some of my deep longing for the wild blue yonder, as well as (and more importantly) building habits and experience toward shortening and shallowing the learning curve "someday"...

It's in that quest for realism that I'd like to have these sounds coming from where they belong. When I start using the headset for live, real conversations with VATSim ATC, it will become really quite important to me.
