Flight Academy
Over the years, the A2A community has grown not only in numbers, but in diversity. We have everyone from first-time-fliers to warbird pilots, to a 747 captains, modern military pilots, to flight instructors.
So we would like to open this new forum, as a universal place where people can go to get information, from engines, to flight planning, to aerobatics, to whatever you wish to know.
So, I want to start off by giving a link to our pilot’s manual for our latest aircraft, the Piper J-3 Cub. So much in this manual is universal, and can be applied to most aircraft. The Pilot’s Manual was written by Mitchell Glicksman, who aside from being a successful musician (shared a rehearsal space with Jimmy Hendrix, toured with 70’s super-group Yes), in college he minored in Aeronautics, and he has accumulated thousands of hours in all kinds of aircraft ranging from our beloved J-3 Cub to big radials to an F-105 Thunderchief pilot in the air force. Mitchell is but one of many talented people among us.
Here is the A2A J-3 Cub Pilot’s Manual:

So, let’s see if this forum can be of service to anyone interested in discussing and sharing their aviation knowledge.
