Paint Request Spitfire EP122

Post by liljim121 »

Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar in Kent, United Kingdom. Recently announced their new spitfire EP122, and wow what a stunner it is! 8) This is the only picture i can come across of this aircraft, as this was her first flight over UK skies.

Hope this can be done :D

Thank you!

Here's my effort with this one. I went with dark green and blue grey for the camo; and the underside is a sort of Sky colour but could be some sort of grey. I can't really tell from the picture and can't find any more on line. See what you think. Any suggestions about colours would be welcome.

Thanks. The official RAF dark green 'swatch' looked more like dark brown in game to me. I fiddled with the RGB values to get what I eventually used. :)

Wow... Thank you ever so much for replying back with an incredible repaint! 8) Sorry i took a long time to reply back i just got the notice on facebook, I am going to give her a flight from Biggin Hill to Old Warden right now

Its a shame i could not find any pictures at the time, it was only announced that day of this picture that it was having its first flight so i was limited on the pictures. Thanks again bladerunner for your superb efforts!

Aikichris - you first need to download a free 7zip installer to extract the files. Once 7zip is installed, your download can be opened.

You are welcome.

@aikichris. You can get a free program to extract it here.
http://www.7-zip.org/

WinRar 5.10 will extract it and I've read that WinZip will do it as well.

Cheers.
Steve.

I just flew it from Prestwick to Cumbernauld then onto Perth in Scotland with real time weather - a real beauty!
