Could anyone give me some advice on which brand of rudder pedals and stick work best with Spitfire 3?

Thanks.

I just got the Logitech G940 after many years with the Saitek X52. And I absolutely love it! I also bought FSForce to enhance the stick's force feedback capabilities, and that's a really tremendous gain in immersion. The Spit, and all the other A2A aircraft, are even more enjoyable for me now. You don't only see the stall occurring, you can feel it. The ground ops have fantastic effects too, and as the forces, needed to steer the plane, get higher as the speed increases, the feel of moving an aircraft through the air, gets much more intense!

Hi, I use an old ms force feedback 2 and it works a treat, much nicer than a spring loaded joystick. For rudder I use saitek pedals, apart from a slight detent in the neutral position which makes the first part of small rudder movements a bit twitchy they have been very good, comfortable and seem quite robust and have a nice feel to them. I have to say the rudder pedals make a huge difference in the quality of flying for me.

Theres no particular brand that works best with the Spitfire. Its normally personal pref, I've heard great things about the current Saitek range. I personally use my CH ones with toe brakes. I like the look of the CH ones over the Saitek ones, though the Saitek ones do seem to offer much greater width between the pedals.

Personally I love my X-52 Pro, a truly great stick! I don't use force feedback sticks as they aren't as sensitive as non-feedback sticks apparently? As someone who is tight on money I value the twist grip on the X-52 Pro stick, very useful

I have been using the G940 system with FS Force software for three years. In my opinion it is the best out there. I used CH & Saitek devices for quite a few years. The force feedback with the FS Force software is the greatest. Combine that with a track IR and in my opinion it doesn't get any better. I would never go back to a spring centering joystick.
