Nice video..and nice takeoff.

(Don't forget to pull up your landing lamps..max speed with those out 140mph :) )

Thanks Killratio, you are very kind, not very happy with that take-off. The new stability changes in the update before last have added a new level and my aim is to circuit bash until I have ironed out the creases!

Good point regarding the landing lamps!!

I always remember your comment regarding “Moscow Approaches” so try and keep it tighter these days!

I find it helps if you start with the stick full aft and full right and then as you open the throttle bring your right rudder in and let the ailerons AND elevators go to neutral at about
the same rate as you open the throttle. It is a little hard to explain but if you try it, you should see what I mean. and also, see here.. https://youtu.be/0bMrhLG3tM4?t=183

And yes, approach MUCH closer to Amsterdam this time :P :P :P :P :P

best regards

Darryl

Cheers Daryl, I seem to be finding I have my right wing lifting and its coordinating aileron and rudder that I need to work on.

I have that DVD :). Love it

The right wing is lifting due to torque, yes. Secondary effect of rudder is not enough to counter this. This is a major change with the new ground handling and solves the most glaring difference between real handling and the A2A Spitfire over the years. The one remaining difference is not one that the community would at all like or that computer joysticks would handle at all well!!

Yes with practice and just getting used to the new handling it is certainly doable!

Another great video. Thanks for posting. I bought my Spitfire for P3D last Saturday night, then 2 days later the rain effect come out. Wonderful. :D So I launched a flight from Southampton with Active Skies running, only to find the weather was fine!!! How wierd is that for England at this time of year??  Had to pop over to France to find some decent rain

Cheers,
Mike
