Hello all,
I just bought the Spitfire today and installed it with no problems. However, when I jumped into the cockpit to go fly I found that there were no sounds for any of the cockpit switches.
Oddly sound still works for the canopy and for the brakes as well as the engine.
I've tried all the simple things that I can think of:
Checking the volume settings within FSX.
Making sure no other speakers were plugged in.
Un-installing and reinstalling the spitfire.
Updating the spitfire with the A2A_Update_11_20_14 (though the spitfire was not detected in this update but my Cessna 172 was).
I've been searching on these forums and on Google for the last 2 hours and I can't find a solution or anyone that has even had this specific problem. So at this point I'm stuck.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
William

I forgot to mention that the switches for all other aircraft in the game work just fine.

Hello,
do you have the Spitfire Accu-sim package or just the base aircraft?
thanks,
Lewis

Re: No Sound for Cockpit Switches
I just bought the base aircraft.
My first purchase with A2A was the Cessna 172 and I hadn't realized that Accu-sim was an add on to the Spitfire instead of being included. That's definitely something I'll want to add later on.

The Wings of Power 3 and Wings of Silver planes have that module separated from the main plane package. Things changed with the introduction of GA planes.
