I don't understand how to interprete the boost press gauge readings.
Could somebody explain the negative values and the moveable indicator please?

Thanks,

Frans

Frans, the boost pressure gauge indicates the boost pressur relative to the outside pressure. I.e. if you are running at +0 PSI the boost pressure it the same as the outside pressure. So, in following that: if you are running at +1 PSI, you are running 1 PSI higher than the outside pressure.

And the movable indicator is just... an indicator (i.e. reference or somekind).

Darryl: please correct me if I'm wrong on this..

Lukas thank you.
Do you know anything about negative boost values?

Like ... ?

I should complete my answer :)

If running -1 PSI you are running 1 PSI lower than the outside pressure

If you are at 10,000 feet, outside air pressure is lower, so it will read less than 0. So specifically, 0 = standard air pressure at sea level.

Scott.
