Hopefully this is a small item to adjust but I was wondering if it's possible to increase the the camera distance that you can see the model so that you can see the Spitfire from farther away. When you zoom out too far, the visual model disappears a little too soon it seems. I've only flown in SP and do not know if this also happens in multiplayer but it might help the folks flying the Spit in MP if there's a similar issue.

Thanks for all the wonderful aircraft.

At what view does it happen? I think I tried all the views, max zoomed out and she is still there.

Rob,

My model disappears in the flyby camera at about zoom 1.0 and the tower view.

I zoom out even furthe - 0.30 - without the issue.
Can you post your specifications? What operating system, which FSX (accel / SP2?), additional 3rd party software?

regards
ROB

Rob,

Thanks for the feedback. Beautiful model. Tweaks I made to my fsx.cfg file were causing the problem. Removing the following fixes it.

[scenery]
SmallPartRejectRadius=4

I'm running FSX with Acceleration in Windows 7 64 bit.

Good find. I found this tweak applied to my .cfg file as well, which has resolved a few issues on my side.

Sorry for reviving dead thread - but this was really a good find. I had the same problem, just with the P51 as well. I think the "Bojote's tweaker" puts this in there..
