Running Accufeel with Accusim?

Post by ripvan »

Is it redundant to run AF with AS?

I don't hear some things like brake squeal, groans and creaks ,wind shear (gear), etc
UNLESS AF is on.

Shouldn't the effects in AF be in AS by default or do they differ ?

Does AF conflict with AS?

Big question is should I (or need to) run AF with AS plane?

Thanks

No it is not advisable to run accufeel with an accusimed aircraft.

Accufeel is for all the aircraft other than A2A.

It gives other aircraft a touch of accusim.

Hello,

yes this is correct,

Accu-sim sound engine and its sounds are on a per aircraft basis. In a spitfire for example the sound you hear when braking is the hiss of the brake action over anything else. And its really noticible too even over the sound of a Merlin you get that wonderful hisss hissss as the Air is used.

Accu-feel on the other hand is a bit more generic and adds sounds that otherwise tend to not be there at all and built on a generic standard for all your fixed wing flight sim hangar.

thanks,
Lewis
