And earn yourself a bollocking from the CO when you land - if you don't get bounced by 109s.

(The appropriate action is a call to "Leader, bogey at . . . clock position and relative altitude (high, level, or low)".)

What were you thinking in terms of cruising altitude? Down on the deck, or Angels 20? Or??

I thought we'd form up over the field at 4,000 or 5,000 for the trip to Shoreham, climb to 15,000 for the Channel crossing, dive to 500 or below to buzz Berck and LeTouquet and run up the French coast, cross to Dover at 2,500, and then . . . I haven't got any further.

Figured it would be fun to make it a sort of squadron exercise. It'll be interesting to see what sort of crowd we can gather.

And any and all suggestions as to flight profile will be gratefully received. :D

Ratty: Looks great to me! Even through my Spit doesn't have a GPS (Oh, the shame of it all!), I plan to have our route and progress showing in LNV on my side computer. Helps to see all the airplanes at once. Think of it as that big plotting table in "Battle of Britain," which I watched last night.

I wasn't sure about what they really did but thank god they didn't include an angry CO to the spit :D

Tobus: Excellent! Nice photos!

I think that the fireworks I saw over London was due to having "Special Effects" checked in P3Dv4. Looking forward to a flight around the Netherlands. My wife and I stayed in Amsterdam for a few days, at the Hotel Brouwer. Classic place!
