No MAP indications and no more than 2100 RPM ...

Post by Loopn'Roll »

Hi there, j just installed the sp1 on my 377 and now j get engines running very poorly with detonations and no power to take off ... No more than 2100 RPM and the needles of the MAP don't move ...J do things by the book, and DID NOT put gas oil in the fuel tanks ... Anyone with a clue ?

Hello,

please check your FSX settings, almost sounds like Auto mixture might be on?

Also did you run the auto updater?

thanks,
Lewis

Hi, j did checked the auto mixture and it is not on, and yes j did the update that's where j started to have issues ... My problem really comes from the MAP gauges, no neddle move when opening the throttles just like if the depression would be far too low for it to indicate ... J'll try to reinstall the whole thing next morning, ( jwork at night !) and be back to you ... Thanks for the "things" you do, they are just wonderful !!!

Loopn Roll,

This can happen on older versions if you don't select the proper version (SP2 or Accel) during install. Are you using the original 377 install with Accu-Sim, and did you make the right selection when you installed? Also, did you run the Accu-Sim update at the top of this forum last?

From a file downloaded from Sim Market, bought on Feb 2008 (order no 463070) First j install the plane then the AccuSim and then the update ... Should j try differently ?

Sorry I mean how do you load the aircraft in the sim for a flight?

Try loading a default aircraft first such as the default 172 and then once loaded use the in game menu to change aircraft.

Thanks,
Lewis
