Hello out there

I purchaced the B-337 a few months ago as well as the COTS upgrade. Everything works fine except the throttles. I am running FSX on windows 7 pro with a Cyborg F.L.Y.5 stick. I am also running all my controls through FSUIPC.

So here's the problem: when i pull my throttle levers to 'Idle' from any higher-than-idle throttle setting, the throttle levers in sim get stuck. Now this is with no reverse zones set up in FSUIPC. In order to move the throttles freely again i must move each lever out of idle manually with my mouse. This sticking occurs with or without the friction lock engaged.

With reverser zones set up through FSUIPC so that the last 3 or 4 millimeters of travel on my stick go into reverse, i get more issues. When i pull back to idle it does just like before, sticking the sim throttles in place, however, when i then pull my throttles back past idle into the reverse zone, the sim throttles briefly pop up a bit and will jump to the position i am asking for before instantly returning to idle. Then at idle they get stuck.

If someone could help me out that would be awesome as i would love to be able to push myself back as well as expedite me decellerations upon landing.

Thanks
Ryan

Could you try to exclude / disable the FSUIPC and test the reversers based on the default FS system only?

I do not know how to disable FSUIPC without uninstalling it, however, I have cleared all the configurations for the strat and set it up through FSX like normal and still this problem persisted.

What does the throttle tooltip read (%) when you move your hardware throttle controller to the idle position?

How do I reset the flight data that A2A saves between flights? Every time I start a flight it loads with the engines running at various power levels. however, they are never running properly, the engines all lurch about every half a second.

Make sure that the "Aircraft / Realism Settings / Enable automixture" option is unchecked.
To "reset" the engines you may try to overhaul them (shift+8 panel) or delete the data files located at

C:\Users\Your name here\Documents\A2A\FSX\377\

folder.

You can also try increasing the null zone for your throttles a point or two in the FSX options, and see if that solves the issue.

Matt
