Hi

The cockpit view does not allow to see the fire switch gang plates easily. How can I have a better access to them?
Besides, when I move one plate the switches don't move. How can I fix that?

Thank you

Finding a satisfactory eyepoint and/or zoom that lets you see whatever you want simultaneously is just something you are going to have to make compromises with. If looking up using your hat switch isn't good enough, your best bet is to get a TrackIR. In addition to that, EZdok, will allow you to create and save custom eyepoints and use them with ease....especially useful for a plane like the Stratocruiser, since you have the Engineer and Navigator positions. I typically create a custom camera view for the Overhead panel, accesible with a keypress of '5'. Trust me, if you want to sim like a man, this is a must-have.

Just tested it and they all work for me, all four of them. As you probably already know, but I'll point out anyway, it isn't a Right-Click operation, a la Pmdg, it is a Left-Click-and-drag-down operation.

Thank you for replying

I have track ir . It works great but I not a big fan of it especially when I have to constantly read check lists or navigation maps as with the B 377. I know about EZ dock but I've read that the setting part is daunting and lucky as I am I bet that I will have trouble with it.
In fact I've found a solution, I will use the copilot view and move the eye point in the central position to have a better access to the overhead panel. By doing so I am now able to operate the gang plates. It easier with other switches too.

I guess adding a central view is doable by editing the aircraft CFG file. What do you think?

Yes. Before EZdok, I used to manually edit the .cfg files just like you are doing. It is a viable solution, and that is what I used to do. You can add a custom eyepoint. However, the next step in the flight sim evolution is to get EZ. When I got Ezdok, I learned to manually edit the camera profiles and came up with some definite opinions on how to manage the vibrations. I suggest you get this program, don't get freaked out about the tecnical aspects of it, and you can ask people like myself to help you through the settings. Trust me when I tell you that manipulating the X,Y,Z coordinates of your eyepoint in real time via EZDock is a heckuva lot easier than doing it manually, with guesswork, with just the Config file alone. Really, if someone points out the key controls, and the files to edit, you will be a master of it in no time at all.
