However i have no engine sound! I only have one sound file in the FSX sim objects B377 foulder. I can hear all the crew ad the odd banging when i firewall the throttles.

Ive searched the forum and have seen this come up before but have not yet seen a fix for it?

Is your engines slider in FSX turned up?

The WoS_B377 and the WoS_B377_Pregnant_Guppy are the 2 folders found in your Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes if you have the Accu-Sim Captain of the Ship for the B377.
All the sound files for the B377 are found in the Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\WoS_B377\sound folder with a total of 65 files.
There is only 1 sound file found in the Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\WoS_B377_Pregnant_Guppy\sound folder.
If you don't have these maybe you download was no good

This is beginning to become a bit of a joke now.

My initial post/problem was posted last Tuesday and now almost a week later I have still not had any "tech support" from anyone at A2A.

I have bought 4 A2A aircraft and would expect better customer support than this. Clearly people have/had issues with the sound on this aircraft before (from looking at previous posts) and no answer or fix has ever been provided! I've been a long term user of all the flight sims and out of all the companies that sell expansion aircraft this has to have been by far the worst customer support yet!!

You certainly wouldn't get this with PMDG!!!!

GET IT SORTED A2A!!!!

Hello,NTM2403
Do you have?
1. Above aircraft with COTS add-on,or just the aircraft?
Seems Norforce(Ron) answered your question and what to do as well. Without giving full info "just stating got the b377 tells everybody here ok you got just the aircraft. Specifics are very helpful.
Plus your system specs. are also important for the A2A guy's to see as well, once they know that very computor savy members will know where too start.

Some suggestions for prompt help with problems
Mark S.

yes i have the COTS add on i purchased the full download and the update just last week.

Norforce(Ron) did try to help yes! He told me where the sound files should be and they arent there. I'm yet to find a solution to this problem and have not heard anything from A2A to say this wont happen to other guys in the future. I'm very grateful for his help as he actually has tried to help me.

I'm simply saying that A2A's customer service is non existant as far as im concerned!

My computer is running windows 7 ultimate (64bit), AMD Phenom 2 x4 940 processor 2.95GHZ, 8GB RAM with x2 Radeon HD4800 series running crossfire and creative SB X-Fi (sound)

Hope this helps!

Hello,NTM2403
Did you delete everything and try to re-install again, with "As Adminstrator" on both products? Do not forget about the COTS 1.1 update as well you will need this also, free download is here on the forum.
I am not A2A personel, but I will keep asking and you keep replying(I will check this everyday for responce)we will get you up and running, you are in for a hoot of time with the Stratocruiser and COTS.(you will remember this comment when you are up and running the program). hang in there for me, I know it can be frustrating as He**.
Creative SB X-Fi, exact same one I have, there is something I had too change on that(It is on the forums here somewhere, let search and get back, unless some see's this before me and knows). Thanks, now other people will see your computor specs. and might have suggestions as well.(might suggest you attach too your signature here,so it is always visiable).

Best Regards
Mark S.

The engines are quieter in COTS, could it be you are playing with a low volume and not hearing them properly?

Lewis he only had 1 file in his sound folder and I have 65 I think it might be more than a Volume problem :-)

Ahh right okie dokie. In that case it sounds like a bad install and I'd suggest a reinstall. Ive certainly never come across this stuff before though from here or the emails. An install normally works or it doesnt. An installer only installing certain files is beyond strange and could be system speicfic if its anti-virus, and some other factor inteferring with the install.

With windows 64bit a right click and 'run as administrator' is normally required and should be adopted by users for all programs as 'good practice' when its comes to PC use etc so I'd make sure this used as the start of the install too.
