This great A2A bird on the Ondonga Airfield / New Georgia / Solomon Islands...
Does anyone know an appropriate repaint for this scenario? 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 SQN RZNAF late 1943 ?

Cheers,
Mark

Great painting there Mike, glad to see the P-40 is still getting paint jobs. I know the P-51 has us all hooked with her slick looks and speed, but somthing about that old grinning P-40 that keeps drawing me back to her. 8)

Thanks TJ! I found a picture of a shiny P-40 at Chanute Airbase (not too far south of me) and I may have to try your chrome out the P-40 method.
I knew when they announced they were going to accusim the P-40 that it would be my favorite single engine fighter. What I didn't see coming was that I'd fly the 377 twice as much as my beloved B-17.
