OK Guys... Here is the warhawk i am going to try and replicate, even doing a complete redo of the teeth.....
This plane is owned by the planes of fame air museum in California
I can use all the advise i can get, as i have never tried to do a paint of an aircraft before....except for doing the masking off of the area for teeth and dark green camo effect on this aircraft.

Good luck Trucker
I think you will find the paint kit fairly easy once you get the hang of it. It really helps. I did a similar paint with Wild Bill Kelso's P-40. Matter of fact the one in your photos might have been the one used in the filming. Have fun with it. 8)

Yeah it is the same P-40 from the movie 1941.....The plane that was bellied onto the street from the movie is made of fibreglass and now sits atop a pole at the March field museum in Riverside Calif.....
I will be attempting to recreate the teeth just the way it is in the pictures....They look good and agressive....

TJ.
Have been working on the p-40 part of today, I copied the texture from poison to test myself on.....So far work looks good....
What i have done so far is just light changes here and their.....I am going to put teeth on the plane, and have one without the teeth.
Here is what i have done so far.....I used PJC747s idea of the star and red dot on the wheelcover. Added the red dot to the emblems on the wings and fuse, added the red white and blue to the rudder section, and am now working on adding exhaust stains to the fuse near the rear exhaust. I still have the Camo and teeth to attempt......
I will forward the bird to you or anyone else who may want to make improvements.....The paint maybe rough and in need to clean up....
I will post the picts when everything is together. Maybe you or someone else will see something i missed.
