KUDOS to Scott and the team for yet another impressive product. Your passion for what you do is once again evident in the P-40. Now that I've had a few hours flying her I thought I would share some of the things I like most. First off, the ground handling is a lot of fun and once you get the hang of it you can taxi in a very realistic manner. I also like how you're kept busy on take-off with all the handles and button for the hydraulics. Once in the air she's not hard to fly but you do have to constantly be tweaking the trim to fly straight and level (something I'm getting better at with time). And the sounds........put on some good headphones where you can actually hear everything and they are AWESOME. Finally the landings........you better not plop this girl down (ask me how I know). As a matter of fact, just to show how realistic she is, after a not so perfect landing I had to put her up on the jacks to repair the right gear and after the repair I couldn't get the jacks to disappear. Hmm I thought, must be a bug in the program.......wrong! After thinking about it I put the gear handle down and used the hand pump and sure enough I was able to move it a few strokes before it stopped, thus making sure the gear was down fully. Clicked on the jacks and she came right down........cool. It's really the attention to details like this that I appreciate. OK, enough gushing, I'm starting to embarrass myself .
