I see that the propeller should be put into "Manual low-pitch" before starting. Would that mean to use the "Dec. RPM" switch to lower the pitch to the lowest setting? Or would you use the Inc. RPM switch to raise the pitch to full fine?

Some places says to use automatic with prop control full forward, and others say to use "Manual low-pitch" so just trying to figure out which direction to adjust the pitch in the manual mode for proper starting. Thanks!

You would use the INC RPM which is same as "fine" pitch.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure if low pitch was referring to low rpm, or the actual low pitch of the blades, or in other words full fine. Thanks for clarifying this.
