Hello guys and gals,

So It's been a while since I last flew the P-40. Took her for a spin today and noticed during ground run-up that at 2200 RPM at Auto-Rich mixture I'm getting only approximately 20 inches of manifold pressure, regardless whether it's a new (0.0 hours) or slightly used engine (~10 hours). Manual says that I should be getting 26 inches at 2200 RPM.

I have the 1.4 update installed, even went and reinstalled every Accu-Sim aircraft I have (right clicking and selecting "Run as administrator") but sill the same issue. The procedure was the following:

1. Install Spitfire
2. Install Spitfire Accu-Sim
3. Install P-40
4. Install P-40 Accu-Sim
5. Install P-51
6. Install P-51 Accu-Sim
7. Install 1.4 Core Update

Is that correct, is 1.4 Update cumulative? Anyone else have this issue?

That installation looks correct. What altitude were you operating at?

Hey Cody,

The airport elevation is 308 feet.

Cheers,

Hydra,

Check the checklists in the 2d panel pilot's notes. This was changed to:
Check mags at 2300 r.p.m. and 25"

I believe the figure we gave in the manual was using a different prop and engine.

Scott.
