Hey dear A2A community,

I noticed that problem with the spit a few times but never that strange, after reloading the aircraft everything was fine, unlike the p-40...

When on ground I often open the canopy to watch the apron sideways. The problem is that when I attempt to open it it often happens that it closes again apruptly after the opening sound.

Thanks for help!

Are you parked near a fuel station?

This happens to aircraft when near a fuel station at an airport.

I use the center wheel of my mouse, 1 click only, to open.

If I "roll" the center wheel, say 2-3 clicks, the canopy will close again.

All planes in FSX if near a fuel station will not allow opening of any doors/canopy's

Coming back to say "Scratch my above post"

I've not been able to reproduce that error as I described above. It must have been...one of those gremlins that FSX gives us just about every week or so!
I've had several "Simconnect errors" that seem to reconnect to FSX without any harm...all systems functioning A-OK. :?

Aaaahaaaahh! That explains what happened yesterday! I was parked near a fuel station and i couldn't keep my canopy opened. I was going to write a new post about this but...

P.S. Before anybody ask about my avatar: yeah, it's me but in... 1986. My good old Air Force Days!
