I have to say this first. I thought it would be hard to improve on the WOP2 P40. I bought the WOP3 P40 to just support A2A. Having never flown a real P40 I have no clue as to how one handles. However I have over 60 hours real flight time and the WOP3 P40, to me, flys like a real airplane. Just love to fly it and now I guess the old WOP2 will just rust up.

Since installation I have lost flap sound in both my WOP3 P47( with accusim) and the WOP3 P40. I go to the sound file and click and can hear flap sound but not in the game. Anyone have a clue as to whats up with this? I still have flap sound in the WOP2 P40 and no problem with other planes, just those two. I'll be tooling along in my WOP 3 P40 and find my airspeed near stall and an external view shows my flaps down and me not hearing them go down.

HELP!

Thanks

Sam

The Accu-Sim P-47 flap sound is very subtle and is completely independent of the P-40. You only hear the lever and some light hydraulic sounds.

The P-40 flap system is run by a electric hydraulic pump. You run the pump, then move the lever, so there really isn't a flap sound. We were able to create this sound with Accu-Sim. So, it is normal to not hear the flaps on the non-accusim P-40. What you heard with the prior P-40 was not really correct.

Scott.

Scott, thanks for the reply. Then I guess I do not have a problem.

Thanks
