VRS Superbug and TacPack

Post by Scott - A2A »

Some at VRS, who make the F/A-18E Superbug, seem interested in Accu-Feel in this thread here:
http://forums.vrsimulations.com/forums/ ... =23&t=8064

Not sure if many know, but we created the engine sound set for their aircraft and only agreed to do this because of a strong respect for Jon and trust his dedication to excellence. In other words, we knew our work was in good hands.

We tested their aircraft with Accu-Feel and it does seem to work properly (as it should). Speed brakes create rumble, ground physics work, gear wind, airframe sounds, tires screech, etc. all work.

We also spoke with Jon today about his TacPack in development and will stay in contact to insure this is also compatible with their TacPack.

Good to hear that things are being resolved. That thread was starting to go bonkers.

As an avid VRA F-18 flyer. I am wondering if accu-feel will incorporate sounds for G effects under heavy wing loading?

Deltaleader,

We don't have that implemented at present, but, that is very high on the list to add, as we already have coded this in previous aircraft.

That would be fabulous for us fighter pilots. Would make the simulation that much better in my opinion.

Thanks

I have to say I am loving the sound enhancements with Accu-Feel. Nice work. I will be extremely excited when you get the G loading effects in place. Just as a reference, this is what I would expect to hear in an F-18 under G loading...Is this what you are planning??

Just skip ahead to around the 2min mark...watch from there...you will see cool factor come in to place.
