This is insane, and inside the plane you can hear the waves hitting the floats, crazy good.
This video shows three different weather settings and how they affect the waves.
Thanks for Accusim 2.

Looks like a nice double whammy of Accu-sim and Accu-feel V2, glad you are enjoying the simulations.
thanks,
Lewis

It is a pity that the aircraft doesn't ride the waves but stays on a level plane.

I tend to agree. It seems the wave effects in P3D are visual animations only. In Rise of Flight, the interaction between waves and vehicles is a bit more convincing.speedy70 wrote:It is a pity that the aircraft doesn't ride the waves but stays on a level plane.
I couldn't seem to find any good videos showing flying boats or sea planes riding the waves in this WW1 flight sim, but this video gives the general idea...

No criticism of Accu-Feel (or the OP's video) implied by the way; just the wave effects in P3D!

Good that you didn't have Heidi in there. I'm sure she would have complained about wet feet
Nice waves. I agree though it kinda sucks though that the plane doesn't rock with the waves (I know the Cub with Accusim rocks but it doesn't seem to float on does waves)

Now if we could do that in P3D v3 the videos we could turn out would be raised to another level.Nick M wrote:I tend to agree. It seems the wave effects in P3D are visual animations only.
