I'm trying to set the turb. setting correct and I'm having an awful time of it.
What is realistic turb. settings?
should the master be all the way up to 100% and then the gust, chop etc be adjusted per aircraft?
I fly small stuff, pc12, c404, 206, 172, etc.
I'm not a real pilot so I don't know. I was flying the pc12 with old v2.0 and wow! I thought the wings were going to come off
then I d/l the .091 update and it smoothed things out but I did turn it down some.
so... any help would be great.
oh, I do fly out in the dessert alot, Vegas, Sedona, Yuma, Big Bear, etc.

Re: What settings for realistic turbulence?
Its what you make of it to be honest and also remember some weather engines will help add to it too, as the effects work using what is already there adding enhancing. If your flying in dodgy conditions with light aircraft though you should be thrown all over the sky, a lot of simmers fly at times no one ever would in real life in a given aircraft, in particular when talking the small craft.

Re: What settings for realistic turbulence?
It seemed very unrealistic because it was clear and I did the ctrl+z to check and I had winds at 14kts.
It looked like I was in a hurricane the way I was bouncing around!
I have it toned down and I get some but not off the charts anymore.
Thanks.

Re: What settings for realistic turbulence?
I experience strange behavior: if there is hardly any wind, light aircraft are violently hurled up and down as if there are very strong turbulences. Sometimes light aircraft crash because of overstressing. This effect disappears with wind speeds above 10 kts. The settings of Accu-Feel don't make any difference in this behavior.

Re: What settings for realistic turbulence?
I would check you guys are running the latest version of Accu-feel as it sounds like you are running 2.0 and not 2.09?
thanks,
Lewis
