Hi
I've read other suggestions on this forum but still cannot get Accufeel to appear in my Addon menu.
To start, I have installed Accufeel and have a folder in the following location - Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D v2\A2A - is this correct. When I run P3D I am not getting any prompts to accept the Accufeel.dll etc?
I have also followed http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 89&t=33313 . I've located the C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xml file , however I am replacing "Microsoft\FSX" with "Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2. Within that folder there is no dll.xml file, but there is one called "dll.xml_Before_Addon_Manager"? I have edited this file to include -
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
Yet, I am having no success. Any help would be appreciated.
cheers
Ian

Hello Ian,
You might need to create your own XML.dll for the addon to work under P3D as it's not officially supported so hasn't been tested etc to install into P3D.
Are you manual installing or using the third party migration tool?
Thanks,
Lewis

Hi Lewis
I have just done a manual install, but might try the 3rd party migration tool and see if that helps.
I created a new file using notepad and saved it as XMl.dll but it defaulted to just dll. I've added that but to no avail. As I say, I haven't yet been asked by P3D whether I want to run the A2A software, which makes me think it is not even recognising it is there, any suggestions?
cheers

Hey Ian,
Give the migration tool a try to see how you get along with that. It sounds like it might be as simple as a typo in your XML.dll
