Help I need to reinstall or fix Microsoft Flight Simulator X the p[program
errors with incomplete instrument panel, some pull down menu not working and aircraft skins not showing on screen commercial and freeware.

I think there is windows file I NEED TO RESET TO FIX THIS


I have no Idea where the error is.

Hello,

what you describe is akin to trying to run FSX SP2 aircraft on an FX installation that hasnt been updated. You can download the two FSX Service Packs from the FSX website.

I started this process years ago with FSX then Acculturation then bought the Gold edition. I have done reinstall a few times over the years. I just seem to remember stopping at abcuspub offices in Grand Rapids MI when this computer was new. I had this no skin issue with Abacus software, and Adam made a change to a windows file like a check type box and the stuff worked. It was so long ago I just can not think what He did.

FSX Gold doesn't include SP1 or SP2 or Accleerration so you will still need to make sure you update your FSX if all you have installed is FSX Gold.

Microsoft Flight simulator x Gold Edition Acceleration not showing some simobjects like Aircraft Factory F4U Corsair, A2A PiperJ3,WOP3 Spitfire also the Maintenance hanger will not appear the default simobjects seem to be ok and show in game play also udated Accu-Sim Update 01_26_2015 - DOWNLOAD where else would I look to get the skins to show.
when I start the FSX and pick free flight say the defult Maule it shows up just fine, but when I use Aircraft Factory F4U Corsair, A2A PiperJ3,WOP3 Spitfire athe skins do not appear, I get ground shadow and some cokpit stuff, but its like nothing works. This fsx program is running on a Vista 64 Gateway

Hello,

I would suggest a reinstal/repair of your FSX simulation, as it still sounds like it is not updated.

The install order is;

FSX
FSX SP1
FSX SP2

OR

FSX
FSX Acceleration.

Once you install these and restart you system you should be good to start installing addons.
