Hello Eddie,

What security programs do you have installed that could be interfering?

Can you please also post your dll.xml contents.

thanks,
Lewis

My dll.xms looks like that: before it was a little longer but I get rid of some lines during the tests:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Service</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>A2A\Shared\A2A_Service.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>FSCopilot</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\FSCopilot.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

No antivirus programs right now are installed, just default XP security which has been turned on and off during tests (FSX in marked as exception as it should).

SUCCESS !

...however upon opening up the WINDOWS volume mixer function I found there was a separate slider for FSX, not just devices, but for a program, not seen that before. Anyway that slider was at only 25% of the value that the speaker volume was set to, so i moved it up and Hey Presto! Accu-Feel sounds WORK , well all except for drag from flaps, but that's probably needing more tweaking from me, overall I think I have resolved it, I'm a much happier bunny now.

Eddie, when you launch FSX, this volume slider does appear in this Windows section, but this volume should effect all sounds in FSX, including Accu-Feel together. Are you saying if you turn this slider to 0, you still hear FSX sounds, but not Accu-Feel?

Scott.

Scott, I believe eddie is on windows XP so the mixer volumes will not be there for individual programs.

I was informed over at SOH that use of Skype causes the volume slider to move for FSX in the volume mixer function. Useful to know if others hit this situation.
