Chief,

Backup your xml.dll. Then open and replace all the contents with this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Service</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>A2A\Shared\A2A_Service.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

Let me know if it works, as this would indicate there may be a conflict somewhere.

Scott.

Hi Scott,

I did as you instructed but, didn't work.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Chief

**Solved problem on 3rd day of sorting this out; see below post**

Accu-Feel is not on my Addons menu. FUISPC is the only one listed. I have not received the request to approve the .dll as I did with FUISPC.

1. I made the change to MS Security Essentials
2. I reinstalled Simconnect
3. I have the most current version of DirectX
4. I unchecked the aircraft stress box
5. I downloaded the updated AccuFeelMenu.dll and replaced the old one AccuFeelMenu.dll
4. I checked the dll.xml and it's correct
5. I checked the modules folder and the files are there
6. There is nothing listed in the [Trusted] section (as I never received the request to trust in the first place)

I have FSX Gold with Acceleration Expansion Pack
My system is Cyperpower watercooled Core i7 2600K 3.4GHZ Win 7 x64 Home Premium running 8 GB RAM
Win 7 runs off of C: (SSD) and FSX runs off of F:\fsx (10,000 RPM HDD) (My windows registry properly points to F:\fsx)

Although I have ORBX PNW and 1 Carenado Piper Arrow IV running fine, they are not on my add-on menu.

Here is my dll.xml file: (it is properly tabbed when I look at it in a text editor)

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path> F:\fsx\Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path> F:\fsx\Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>F:\fsx\Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

I've spent 6 hours on this: multiple install then uninstall then re-install. I've rebooted multiple times. I've restarted and exited FSX multiple times, etc. No luck. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

John

**Problem solved 5/28: For whatever reason, when I would uninstall Accu-Feel it would leave behind all of the files. So, I deleted the 2 .dll files out of the modules folder (where I keep the fsx program files). I deleted the specific lines relating to Accu-Feel out of the dll.xml and got rid of the other A2A files in the roaming folder where fsx keeps the fsx.cfg file, and then I ran iObit's DEEP registry clean program (which identified a bunch of registry values left behind). After rebooting and making sure that FSX was working and that FUISPC was on the add-on menu as normal, I reinstalled Accu-Feel. I rebooted again and then entered FSX where I was FINALLY asked to accept the two .dll files. Now all is working.
