Something that I remember when flying in a C402 was when we were in rain, the rain hitting the windscreen and uninsulated aluminum skin of the plane made the cabin very loud. Like a white noise that in a way is fatiguing when flying IFR in busy airspaces. At 160kts the sound is almost deafening, has to come in at something like 110dB if not a lot more.
FSX has never done a good job modeling this. While I dont want a sound thats going to blow speakers, it would be a great and real effect to increase the sound rain has on hitting planes. I mean just the slight rain drops on a plane sitting still makes the sound of what you would think is a normal rain storm. So having a sound that gives this effect that increases with speed and is adjustable like all the features of Accu-Feel would be a huge leap into real feel of flying or being in rain.
