I tryed too setup settings for airplanes with open cabin but still the sound (more prop, wind, less integration of cabin ect.) is worse than I take Shift+E (open window), but in this plane isnt a door, windows for opening ect.

Is it possible to add one new button with option "On/Off - Open a window permanently" ? I noticed better sound when "the window" is open for airplanes like this:

Yoyo, you may try to install the door by yourself. Add this section to the aicraft.cfg file:

[exits]
number_of_exits = 1
exit_rate.0 = 100 ;Percent per second

This is VERY FAST door (the trigger delay is still there however). You may expect the effects after you open the door.

regards
ROB

Rob, I think the better option is to do this button in GUI:

Keep it!

Notice, some airplanes with open cabin has a small door (like Tiger Moth ect), so it will be a little strange If I will fly with opened a door 8) .

So you have to wait.

Or perhaps have 2 door entries in the cfg for those aircraft and use the second "door" as the
open cockpit sound trigger.

We want to make it without touching the CFG file(s) by a simple check mark.
My intention was to help Yoyo in his dramatic situation now ;)

I added extra Exits to my Golden Age Simulations Waco ASO to the aircraft.cfg. It already has a passenger door. Now I just 'open' the extra door and i get wind noise...its great 8) By default, FS aircraft have 'one' exit and might not have an Exit section in the aircraft.cfg. If you don't see an exit section, just add somthing like below to it.

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4 // (0=Main 1=Passenger)
exit.1 = 0.4 // (0=Main 1=Passenger)
