Couple ear candy items that I have seen/heard in two other developers that I liked are:
1)Engine ticking as it cools down. This is offered by a developer as an addon.

2) In MSF, I tried out the one of the missions or lessons or whatever they called it to learn to fly the Stearman. What I liked was the lady instructor spoke and the sound was given it two sound sets. When she was outside the plane talking and sound in a normal voice and then her headphone voice. Additionally it was in that flight or one of the sightseeing flights that you hear when the person puts on the headphones you hear a live mic bump and scratch like you normally do and them breathing as they put it on.

This would be a nice feature on A2A planes that are crewed like the B-17 or B377. Just an idea to put on the back burner as was a nice touch and I'll give credit where credit is due.

Kilstorm,

Thanks for posting.

Yes, we are planning on adding those sounds, as we have captured these rapid engine cooling / expanding sounds in the past and have them in our sound library. We've also discussed adding personalities (like Heidi), but that would be something down the road.

Scott.

Sounds great, I miss Heidi and her comments, when I'm not flying - A2A Piper J-3 cup.

Nico081, if the new A2A web page is a hint; then you and I may get our wish. :D

I thought that very thing a couple of days ago, but didn't want to push my luck since I've mentioned the AT-6/SNJ a few too many times!

Bring it!

Joe

It is hard not to run every trad into a wishlist, so that Scott maybe doesn´t read that carefully. I hope so, but i am really unsure. :? There are so much equal treads running with no reactions from Scott. Does he really want to read wishlists of aircrafts every day? :?

Icing...I dont know if Accu-feel could implement somthing like this. Baytower Studio RV-7 has a good simulation of icing and it's deleterious effects...ie gradual increase of drag, reduced airspeed/climb ability. In real life icing can a very scary thing, especially in small GA aircraft that lack proper de-icing equipment.

Simulating structural icing is easier to simulate on a per-aircraft basis and rather difficult at lower levels, where Accu-Feel exists.

Some day ago I found an Ice Gauge, which, when icing is present, gradually increases weight of aircraft and decrease engine performance to the point, when aileron upset comes to the game. i cannot recall the filename, but it is easy found on AVSim library. There are no visual effect at all, only physics
