Arguably the finest fighter aircraft of World War II.

Here are some of the ones that I have done. Let me know what ya think. All of these are in 32bit DDS so the texture quality is outstanding! I see no hit on FPS.

Why thank you Lewis! :) The screen capture that FSX uses is not the best in the world and the pics are darker than normal. I try.

Here is one that I made for a gentleman in California. He wanted one that looked like the P-40's that were stationed in north Africa. Although a fictional paint I think it turned out well.

Thanks,
Joshua

Nice one! One question though: the prop texture on that one, I get those moving, darker-shaded circle segments - is that by design? Can it be "turned off"?

I noticed it go the other day. Let me play with the textures a bit and see what I can come with to fix that issue.

Thanks,
Joshua

Here is another one that i finished today. This aircraft was part of the 302nd Fighter Group. The nose art and the kills are fictional but I thought it needed it. Hope you guys like it!

Thanks,
Joshua

Rotating the alpha on both prop textures anti-clockwise by 45 degrees seems to sort it out.

Hope this helps.
Steve.
