Let me know what you think. Make sure every rivet is where it needs to be. LOL!
I'm not uploading anything else till it's right. I would like to put the names on the canopy yet.

Musicman, that is one of my favorite Mustangs and you have sure done her justice!!! Just beautiful, looks perfect! My only thought, and this is SO minor that it honestly doesn't matter: The interior of the gear well and landing light appears to be aluminum, not painted green. Here are Cody's pics which show this well- viewtopic.php?f=93&t=30346

But seriously, you can release it "as is" and it is my new favorite paint, and daily flyer!

Thanks SOOOO much for doing Glamorous Gal!

Joe

You're welcome Joe. Actually the inside gear doors are aluminum from what I can see. My brother became friends with Chris and has many photos and Chris even let him sit in it for pictures.
I got Chris and his late dad Bob's name on the canopy as close as I could get from the photos I have. I also toned down the noise (wrinkles) in the finish. Looks better I think. Just about ready for upload. I need my brother to test it out and look for bugs. He's been all over this plane in real life.

Really killer job. I like your idea about modifying the bump map.

Yeah, I worded it funny, but I was trying to say up inside the wing when the gear is down should be aluminum... I think we're on the same page-

I can't wait for this!

This if for Joe. I used the wheel well texture from Lady Alice. Great plane by the way. I updated my gear doors by shinning up the center panel. Hope you like.

Looking good so far.
If you're really going for broke, have another look at the serial on the tail, I think you may need some adjustments there too, I have the impression your numbers are a bit too bold or 'fat' if you know what I mean.

Musicman, that writing on the left and right landing gear fairing (the white part) appears to be related to the Wounded Warrior Project. I recognize the logo of one soldier helping another, although the text is a mystery to me. When I saw Glamorous Gal last year she was flying a formation with an L-39 Albatros as the Wounder Warrior Flight.

Joe

Edit: The top part of the text says (in a slight script):

335th Fighter Sq
4th Fighter Group
Debden, England (I'm pretty sure)

then at the bottom is the Wounded Warrior Project logo, with text beneath which most likely says "Wounded Warrior Project", and some tiny illegible text at the bottom.

Hope this helps!

Joe
