V 0.9 release

http://www19.zippyshare.com/v/53622235/file.html

As you might see, I just started working around some special weathering and scratching, for example at the exchanged gauges' housings. The iron screws also got some rust...

Unfortunately the night texture isn't finished yet, so it's missing in this package. The next version will contain it, I promise

Hope you like it!

Well, lonewulf, that is an interesting point :D Reminds me at the livery a canadian airline had in the 90s, the one side english, the other one french.

If the Mustangs recieved a gauge update, I think it was done with surplus stuff - like the Bruns indicators back in those days. Unfortunately I don't see a chance to change the Altimeter.. The variometer is possible, that will be my next project.

Another point is that the construction of the airspeed ind. gives me some restriction because it doesn't match on the layout of the german gauge... So I will try a good looking compromise.

That Canadian paint is still around......I see it coming in to Victoria and Vancouver once in a while.

Can you post some screenshots, remeber visual eye candy sells, or in this case generate interest. Feel free to start a new thread on the forum with a download and a few screenshots, maybe a link to the Swiss paint and lets get everyone getting a proper cockpit with there swiss stangs.

As soon as I come back from my band tour through korea, I'll do that! Will try to release 1.0 with that.

Hey guys,

as being a musician is a more-than-fulltime job, I simply didn't get to the project for a long time. The whole year is packed with stuff to do and time I can't sit at my computer for fun, so if I will be able to finish, it will need some more time.

A big sorry

Hi Marko

You know of any detailed photographs of the Cockpit layout J-2113? Or anyone? I have been looking around but coudn't find any.

If not, then I think it's probably easier just go over to the museum (which is not too far from where I live) and take some shots. Well, provided the staff would agree letting me do that. After all, I don't think they would be so fond letting me on the wing. As the plane is set up now, you cannot look into the cockpit. But maybe they can be talked to.

After all I think it would be nice if we could reproduce this still very original P-51. Apart from some changed gauges and the awful rocket launchers, it's one of the few Stangs that didn't see much modification from what it was in 1945 when Switzerland bought them as surplus for 4000 bucks a piece...

Best,
Florian
