TBH that is a strange way of looking at it for me.
Yea sure costumers will not have to meddle with the FSX.cfg in order to enjoy crisp and sharp textures but it just avoids the issue of a not correctly configured FSX doesn't it?

I wouldnt call it incorrectly configured FSX when you are having to go intot he files manually to edit them. Our models dont use mip maps so to avoid any manual editing its easy to just save them without mipmaps and get the full textures isnt it?

Hi,
Your work looks amazing in the screen shots. So I am curious, I have run into a similar or the same issue mentioned before. When I have these skins loaded, they are blurry. I tried some of the suggestions mentioned with no noticeable difference or change.. I am running a fairly powerful graphix box here so I am curious to know is there a solution? I love this paint scheme and your work looks outstanding in the screenies.

I have attached a screenshot sample. All settings are maxed..

That is exactly the case. He stated a few posts back that he intentionally left mip maps checked. That doesn't work for A2A aircraft. I loaded those textures in DXTbmp and re saved them without mips checked and it is Crystal clear.

Just download it from file factory, the link is still active.
No registration necessary. Just scroll down and click on slow download.

It's not a zip or RAR but a '7z' file - 7zip is a shareware file compression utility, widely available and it works really well. It's worth the effort - this paint (with the main texture re-saved, as suggested, without mipmaps) is just exquisite.
