SCREENSHOTS (P-51 Civilian Mustang)

Arguably the finest fighter aircraft of World War II.

Thanks, cdfi! I now have the Big Beautiful Doll "Trio" (Military, Civilian, and German Reg Civilian), with the classic civilian being my favorite! This was the first P-51 I ever saw fly as a kid, and it's really awesome that you did these unbelievable repaints (the offerings available from other authors are fantastic as well!). Anyway, as a new Orbx England owner, I took the civilian BBD to check out the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden, a place I'd love to get to one day IRL:

Next to what I believe is a Nanchang CJ-6 -

Posed next to the Sopwith Triplane, which appears to be getting some fresh paint -

Many thanks,

Wonderful to see the repaint being enjoyed on A2A's P-51D civilian Mustang. I also took another screenshot of the civilian version that simulates a web photo of BBD in flight.

I just realised that with the $10 discount for owning the Military P-51, plus already having the Accusim, I could get the Civ Mustang for under £13.
One flight and I'm completely in love, and wondering why I waited so long. Here she is at Duxford wearing Musicman and Øyvind Johnslien's nice shiny 'Big Beautiful Doll' scheme.

I'm just off to see if I can find her good friends Frankie and Jacques....

After downloading the re-paints of the P-51 Civy by Joshua, I had to take her out for a run.

KROW to KALM at FL200.

This outstanding aircraft has been made to look even better!

I love the attention to detail.

Thank you Joshua for the paints!

This is what happens when a weekend warrior who flies a C-172 is let loose at the controls of a high-performance aircraft

I came in a little 'hot' on my first landing...so hot I caused sparks!
Image

The final resting place...did I do that?
Image

Needless to say, there was a little work to be done on that right gear...
Image

I'd like to say that the gear was shot up as I was escorting some B-17s home, but sadly the damage was definitely 'self-inflicted'. Better work on those 3 point landings, I guess.
