P-51 Home Cockpits?

Post by Badge »

Anyone here building a Mustang cockpit? My neighbor and I are about to start building two of them this year for us and the kids to play with. We plan to use the Authentikit stuff and well as make our own parts to build high fidelity pits.

Hi Badge

I have a P-51 pit I built based on the A2A MIL. The complete build is here on the forum. viewtopic.php?f=93&t=40795

This goes back to 2015 and at that time I was using Photobucket. They changed their policies so some of the older pics may not appear. The more recent pics are hosted on Ingur and work fine.

In your other post I gave you a link to Stang's Facebook page. His plans are fantastic and he supports his work.

Here is my pit. Let me know if I can help.
Take care
Ed

My neighbor and I got to think a few weeks ago and decided we would build 2 cockpits 1 for each of our houses. I have built and launched https://projectp51.com/ where we will document our builds and look to grow a small community of other Mustang builders.
