Miss America v2.0 A2A CIV model

Post by EightyFiftyFive »

The new "Miss America v2.0" for the A2A civilian model.

Touched up a lot of areas from the old version. Paint, lettering, wells, gear doors, bumbmap, spec layers, alphas and more... it's a lot better now. If you have the old version you can take it out completely then just install this one as a complete new aircraft and overwrite the text file inside the aircraft.cfg file. Replace everything. Instructions included in the .rar

The aircraft.cfg text is different so delete your old one and use the one in the download or it might not show in your listing.

Enjoy!

Well done Alan, she's a beauty !!
Now that I can fly the plane again, it looks like a good one to add to the hanger.

Thanks, keep it up !!

If I may offer one critique... I believe the aft faces of the prop should be a solid flat black, instead of chromed. :)

Cheers!

Yes you are correct, However I just wanted to incorporate a fully polished blade set since someone asked for it. But hey, I also heard the real Miss A might go with a complete polished prop in the near future but I don't know how well that holds water.

Thanks for the outlook though as it's easy to miss things on these paint kits.

No worries! I flew her from KASE to KHSD... on a lovely flight this evening... It's funny b/c from the cockpit the prop disc appears to be about 3-4 feet in diameter from the pilots seat.

:)

Yes, I have the racing pack. I just couldn't tell if it contained the updated v2.0 or not.

Maybe it does because the main textures were created 3/18/2014, same date when EightyFiftyFive announced the updated version.

This is correct. It's also in the race package on our FASA site for download.
