If you are using an antivirus like Norton, just shut it off while doing the update. I had the same problem with Norton and this fixed it.
Hope this helps

Any info with regard to the above support request?

I'm unable to use the Cherokee following this update. The partial install has corrupted my original Cherokee install.

I've disabled all firewalls and I've tried run as administrator with no luck.

I have just a short question as I'm not so familiar with A2A products. I just bought the Cherokee 180 and the Cessna 172 with Accusim and during installation it said that afterwards i should download the "accusim core update" (2.0). But beside that i could find the "A2A-Update" (28.9.). Do I need both? If yes, would it be best to first install both planes and thereafter install both mentioned updates? Thanks.

Thank you for the update gentlemen. Now I will have to see if I can manage to avoid flooding the Cessna 172 on a winter cold start for a change.

I was pleased to see this change. I remember one morning flying a 172S, tail end of winter. Couple degrees below freezing outside. First flight of the day, had to thaw frost off the wings. Tried starting it several times, without so much as a sputter. It didn't seem like it was flooded (that makes a subtle but very particular sound when you crank, I've found), so I just went for broke and primed for what felt like AGES. I'd have to guess five seconds. That's when she finally fired up. So I'm glad to see it'll be harder to start on cold days now.

The plugs do not foul so easily as they have been for ages and the throttle is less (over)sensitive. Love it, very good update.

Hi,
this is my first A2A airplane, do I need to install this update or is it already coming in the C182 install package?
Thanks

In general, you always want to run the accusim core update last. However, since the 182 includes the same core, if it is the last accusim plane you installed, then you are OK without running it.

However, it never hurts to run the latest core update.

Hi Scott or Lewis,

After this new Accu-sim system i feel that is not doing nothing in my pc. It detects the aircraft that i have runs a wizard for each one but it runs very fast and say to all that "i already have the lastest version" without any error.

I have this add-on's:
- B377 “Captain of the Ship”
- Piper J3 “Cub”
- P-47 “Razorback”
- B-17 “Flying Fortress”
- Supermarine “Spitfire”
- P-40 “Warhawk”
- C172 “Trainer”
- Piper Cherokee "180"

Can you say me some files names and dates for them to check in my pc if i have them and if the accu-sim wizard are doing his job correctly here?

I already ran the 11.14.2014, same results, all already with lastest version as if nothing is required to do and did nothing.

Thank You in advance

Best regards

If you read the message that pops up when you first run the updater, it tells you that even if all aircraft are listed as up-to-date, it still updates some of the "core" Accu-sim files. In other words, it's normal for it to say that all of your aircraft are up to date, if each individual aircraft is already the latest version.

stavka,

The updater does internal CRC checks when it runs. If it downloaded the updates and was successful, these CRC checks had to pass.
