Hi cdfi, as you know I am a huge fan of your work. As Glamorous Gal is no longer, and Frances Dell has taken her place and is now airworthy (with some awesome videos on Facebook), I was wondering if you would consider releasing the fantastic repaint you have created- even if not 100% (who knows the exact cockpit?)... Glamorous Gal was by far my favorite Mustang to see at airshows, and while she will likely reside out West these days as Frances Dell, I'd love the opportunity to continue flying her. I would send this request as a PM, but I seem unable to do so.
Many, many thanks,
Joe
Question for CDFI, Re: Frances Dell
Re: Question for CDFI, Re: Frances Dell
After viewing their nice photos on the Midwest Aero facebook page, I've going to make several corrections to some of the areas in the preliminary repaint that I made earlier, and as soon as it's done, I'll post a screenshot and a download link.

There are a few different photo-posts and a video of the aircraft's arrival at its new home in Denver last week, on this page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/colorad ... otography/
As with all of your work, I'm really looking forward to your repaint of "Frances Dell", CDFI! (Also, thank you for your latest, "Short Fuse Sallee")
BTW, if there is anything that you are still in need of in order to finish either "Little Rebel" and/or "Daddy's Girl", please let me know - I've been keeping an eye out for when you might have those released as well. ; )

I also saw your "Angel's Playmate" and "Daddys Girl" paints on your homepage - when will we be able to download them?

Just got her and flew for a bit... Highly impressive! I love the pilot's helmet which makes up for not being able to have the red around the canopy- nice touch!
Thanks again cdfi!

I have the same question. The website gives the impression these paints are available -- somewhere. No indication they are W.I.P.Lufthansa 380 wrote:I also saw your "Angel's Playmate" and "Daddys Girl" paints on your homepage - when will we be able to download them?

I saw the pictures you posted, and I wanted to say great job. It looks just like the actual thing (since I have history of the actual plane). But I just wanted tho say, this is actually my uncles plane he flew in world war 2. And also if you need any more pics from the real plane, I could send them to you.

I just wanted to tell you that if you need any more photos for the cockpit I could send them to you since I have history of this plane( it was my uncle's plane in ww2), and your model looks beautiful, I saw your other post with the pics. Nice job, keep it up!
