After all these years of looking at the famous photograph of the 353rd FG "Dallas Doll" and admiring the beautiful painting titled 'Playing the Last Ace' by Heinz Krebs, it was great to have a way to put all that info into a repaint so that we could see it in FSX. Fold3.com has a giant photo of "Dallas Doll", and upon closeup, it was interesting to see that the serif at the bottom of the letter "D" was instead the number 4495. All the plane's crew names are visible and with the help of additional information from the 353rdfightergroup website, the correct names were placed in the repaint. It's great that we can finally see the small details with the high resolution of the A2A Sim Accusim Mustang, it makes repainting a little demanding but worthwhile. Hope you have as much fun in seeing it take to the air as I had in making this repaint of P-51D "Dallas Doll" for some flight simming in FSX.

All your paints are amazing - your fault had to buy the civilian - I would assume military next - great work and thanks :)

Very nice paint scheme of a great looking P-51D. I just downloaded it. Thank you CDFI.

Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!
