Military Mustang has issues

Post by PonyDriver »

Like I mentioned in a previous post, I do not have accusim installed. (yet) My CIV mustang works perfectly. I love it. But, the MIL mustang has a few issues...

1. I can't steer it on the ground! Yes the tailwheel is unlocked, she just wont turn, even with Differential breaks! The CIV mustang, no issues.

2. I got a sim-connect error a couple of times. Restarted FSX, this went away..but only with this MIL mustang...weird

Any thaughts?

Hi,
Well, not "officially"

I started to, but then stopped it as soon as I realized I had no Accusim.

Should I try to re-install the MIL mustang?

I actually was thinking of not getting accusim, only because I am a "lazy" simmer, and I like to just start-up-and-go! To each his own, right?

If I install accu-sim, can I set it to "easy" somehow?

Hello,

yes you can turn the damage ON/OFF in Accu-sim under the shift+3 menu. You will want to uninstall the Mustangs and then manually delete any left overs in your FSX as trying the run the updater can result in issues if not an Accu-sim user.

Do you think if I un-install and then re-install it (without accusim) it should fix issues?

Hello,

you will need to check that no left over files from the updater are present in the FSX folder and the FSX Sim-objects folder as well. Also under your my documents, A2A folder if its created this will want deleting.
