Airplane banked when "level"

Post by PonyDriver »

Ok dumb question. Why is my mustang (CIV) low-wing-left when I have autopilot on holding altitude and heading? I had JUST taken off so I really don't think its unballanced fuel..or is it?

Rudder trim is normally set 6 degrees right for takeoff, so in cruise you're going to notice a bit of bank to hold heading. Center your rudder trim and I'll bet that bank will go away.
