Accusim Questions

Post by PonyDriver »

Ok, stupid question. Can I somehow config Accusim so that I can have the SOUNDS that accusim gives, but not all the performance re-creations?

What if I wanted Accusim without having to worry about all the "reprocusions" ?

Let me explain....

The other night I re-installed accusim and it seemed to work great! I got all the nice sounds, vibrations, all that stuff. I took a short flight to a local airport, and I taxied it to the ramp. Sitting at the ramp, with the engine running, I noticed the NAV lights went out. Hmm. SO, I gave it more gas to get the RPM's up (the generator comes on at higher RPM, right?) Well, the lights never came back on.

Was I doing something wrong?

So that gets me back to my question. Can I have the accusim "oohs and aahs" with out the accusim "realism"

thanks

Don't know exactly, because I want that realism
There's a accusim or damage on/off button in shift + 3 panel. Maybe this coud help.

Hello,

yes you can use the shift-3 damage on/off button.

Also make sure you are fully updated and run the updater.

thanks,

Once rpms are above 1500 generator will kick in but it will take a bit for electrics to come back. My advise is when taxiing on the ground only turn on beacon light and com1. Just before take off turn on gps and rest of avionics, landing light strobe light and set frequencies
