I still love the lines of that plane.

Grading this display having flown them in this airplane myself I would grade this specific routine flown on this day as one of the best I've ever seen done in the Mustang.
Lee has more time in 51's than anyone on the planet and it shows when he displays. His energy management and point definition are literally flawless.
I will add here that anyone wanting to experience the Mustang and fly one can do so by scheduling with Stallion 51. They operate two TF-51's for just this purpose. You won't find a cleaner or better P51 operation anywhere. Just call Angella and get on the schedule.

Very nice video and display by Lee Lauderback.
Thanks for posting!
One of my favorite Mustang displays was one that I witnessed at a Shuttleworth Collection (Old Warden) display back in August 2008.
I didn't film it myself, but the lucky person who's dad sponsored the display did. (He later got a flight back to Duxford in the jump seat!)
Alister Kay in The Old Flying Machine Company's 'Ferocious Frankie'.

Old Warden is a lovely small grass strip in Bedfordshire with two runways that serve as the 'A' and an 'B' axis, which means you get some nice passes (and also much closer than the shows held at the bigger airfields) by the pilots who utilise both of them.
Cheers
Paul

Re: Nice P-51 Video
very nice ! This guy does his stuff close to the ground not like some of the ho hum stuff you see today (kill the lawyers). I have seen some of the greats at air shows. The most "holy Sh*t close to the ground routines I have seen were Jimmy Franklin's. I will never forget his shows. His pullouts with the prop screaming used to make my young son cry. I certainly am not qualified to critique anyone's aerobatic performance as far precision goes but Jimmy made you hold your breath from start to finish. He ended up like many of the greats who were always trying to outdo themselves. Life without risk is not my idea of life. Like the guys that just bought it in Yosemite they would not have had it any other way, not for everyone of course. Thanks for the video Cliff.
