P-51 Repaint Search/Request

Post by Col. Beavis »

I have looked high and low for the following repaints, most of which are very active warbird Mustangs. I am curious if anyone has located repaints for the following:

Pecos Bill

Val Halla
Image
Gunfighter
Image
Bald Eagle
Image
Primo Branco
Image
Checkertail Clan
Image
Comfortably Numb
Image
Happy Jack's Go Buggy
Image
Crazy Horse

Dakota Kid/Long Island Kid

Diamondback

In the case you can not locate it, I would extremely grateful if any repainters here could do their magic and reproduce some of these stunning Stangs for FSX. Civillian preferred, but either way! :)

Thanks!!

I would be interested in seeing some of these too. The only one I've found is Gunfighter but that as a very weathered look and I would love a clean, modern day looking one.

Happy Jacks would be incredible in the civilian mustang. I've seen it in person and it's absolutely stellar. Sierra Sue II would be another one that has been incredibly done!

I would love these as well!!!! So many of these very famous Mustangs have not been repainted, but we have tons of fictional NASCAR repaints..

Looks like Gunfighter was just done by Tom in his repaints thread. So that's one down!

I just browsed through the entire main repaint thread.

I found Gunfighter, Checktertail and a very old rendition of Crazy Horse.

Can you please get me going on the right path to these other usual suspects? Would be much appreciated. I have had no luck at all finding the rest of the Mustangs in the thread.

Most of those pictured in the first post actually haven't been done.

As far as repaints go, these are amongst my favorites - https://07cf531fc02d6eb445e37d332d48459 ... aphics.htm All of the finest quality and accuracy, even featuring corrections to some detail inaccuracies from the original product paintwork. Unfortunately a few of the repaints have never been released, but I have enjoyed all of those which have been, especially those that depict the restored aircraft today.
