GTN 650 radio assignment suggesttion for Civ Mustang

Post by pilottj »

Hey guys,
I know putting the GTN650 in the Civil is pretty low on the priority list. But if you guys decide to do it, would you consider remapping the the radio assignments? ie GTN for Com1/Nav1, then center section radios: Com2, Nav2, ADF, Xpdr. Then if posssible change the secondary HSI/RMI needle from NAV1/ADF toggle to NAV2/ADF toggle. This would greatly enhance the Civ Mustang's IFR capability.

Looking forward to the GTN650 equipped Civil Mustang, tho no hurry guys, having lots of fun with the other birds.

Thanks
TJ

So will the update be for just the gtn650 or for the 750 as well?

The 650, the 7 is too large to fit without some major cockpit re-working.

Thnx. Now I have to decide if the 650 is to be purchased... for the GA aircraft that support gtn integration is it one or the other or can I install a gtn750 and gtn650 in the VC?
