Flight Planning Software

Post by PonyDriver »

Hi,
Does anyone use any FSX Flight Planning software? I was looking for something that I could use to plan flights with. I use SKYVECTOR now, just to find airports and routes, but what I want to do is use something that would keep track of my flight live, while I am flying in FSX. Someone suggested "PLAN G". Anyone use that?

One thing I wonder, it seems like PLAN G loads all the navigation information into the FSX aircraft. But, would that work with the CIV Mustang? I thaught we had to load our GPS manually to simulate realism. WIll the CIV mustang GPS accept a flight created by FSX?

thanks!

Fantastic program, loads of us use it.
When you first start the program it will scan your scenery files so that all your airports are in it's database ready for you to use.
Cheers Chris

Plan-G is a great tool. Only problem is it use what FSX knows about airspace. It's possible to export .plg files to .pln(FSX files) so you can use Plan-G to plan trips for your Mustang
Kind Regards
Tomas
