This post makes me miss snow and the magic that was the P-51 military version when it first came out. Curse my sandy-and-bleak current locale!

However, the mil 'stang is still magical. Maybe I'll find somewhere snowy to fake-fly this weekend?

Thanks for the inspiration and pretty pictures!

Outstanding screen shots. She sure looks nice in the snow!

I finally got a chance to try my hand at some snowy Mustang flying thanks to being inspired by this thread!

Took off out of Sitka at dawn and tooled around with drop tanks until I felt I'd been up long enough. By then due to the short winter days, it was already dusk. Was fun!

Thanks for the inspiration, Lufthansa 380!

Really nice shots. Very atmospheric. One thing to love about winter I guess

You sure did take some great captures of your most current flight. Love the lighting, scenery, and machine! Thanks for these!

You're welcome! And great shots - glad I could inspire you to try something new. ;)

Haven't really flown the 'Stang since those initial screenshots I posted, hope I can get her out for a nice spin, maybe in a warmer region this time. :)
