With the release of Update_3_29_16, is the Flight1 GNS 650 now an option in the Civilian Mustang? Or, do we need to wait for a Civilian Mustang Aircraft Configurator?
Thanks,
Jason

Lets hope the mustang and possibly the other warbirds get the gtn option soon.

Re: Civilian Mustang GPS Options
Without making a new post and becoming annoying I would like to throw my hat in the ring for wanting the GTN650 integrated in the civ Mustang too if at all possible. The 750 in the Comanche/C182/Cherokee is absolutely amazing!
As a side bar if you want GPS in the other warbirds n421nj you can add a pop up windows. I know that is not integrated, but it is still better than nothing. Especially if you added autopilot to them in the .cfg files like I did. Enables me to enjoy the scenery and exterior plane views easier while flying longer flights.

Well I feel like a dolt. I even used the search function and everything and seen where Scott said the work had been done, and that it was coming in a future updater. Guess my epiphany came about the time he decided it was ready for release. Thanks for the info, downloading and updating now. Can't wait to make a favorite of mine even better.

Re: Civilian Mustang GPS Options
For those that are wondering it works, and works great! Only downside I see (not A2A's fault) is that the flight plans you make on the 750 don't carry over to the 650. So have to input them all by hand again. Is a small price to pay for having a GPS to match the plane finally though.

Re: Civilian Mustang GPS Options
Great to see the 650 on board. Sadly I don't own it. It is a big pricy to pay again 65$ for it. I only own the 750 and would be nice to see it in future update of the P51. I think the right area to include it, would be in the radio stuck area, as the GPS already has the radios function.
Another great addition in the P51 civ (my favorite aircraft in A2A, and I have several of them) would be to add the walkaround feature. With that the plane would be perfect!!

Basically the Warbirds work on a different system to the GA and so don't have the walk-around feature.
As I understand it, it would be major work to alter the Warbirds to include one as it would have to be done for ALL of them at once.
The thinking is that any wartime aircraft OR treasured restored Warbird has a heap of support crew keeping it flying whilst the pilot just gets the glamorous bits
